Target 3- To support Liturgy, prayer and the spiritual life of the School
Today was Remembrance Day; the Pope Francis Action Team led the service. The whole school walked to the Memorial, and everyone stood in their year groups listening to the readings. Members of the community joined us as the deputy head girl rang the bell for the minute silence to remember all of those people who lost their lives in the war. Aaron- Chair Person.
Rosary Club
This week we re-launched our lunchtime Rosary Club. \as part of the Catholic tradition, Catholics around the world say the holy Rosary each day through the month of October. In keeping with this tradition, KS2 children have been saying a decade of the Rosary each day at lunchtime with the Pope Francis Action Team.
Children are given the opportunity to offer up their prayers for any special person. Many pray for their grandparents and other members of their family.
