Jonah Class

Jonah and the Whale scripture reading teaches us that God loves all people. Jonah tried to run away from God. God sent a great storm upon the ship, and the men decided Jonah was to blame, so they threw him overboard. As soon as Jonah fell into the water, the storm stopped. While in the belly of a whale, Jonah prayed to God for help. God had the big fish throw up Jonah onto the shores of Nineveh. 
God forgave Jonah, and he went on to share the good news of God.
