Target 1

Encouraging the children to live out their faith in their daily living

At. St. Anselm's we are proud to have pupil representatives that take part in weekly meetings.  This is so that pupils have a voice and are involved in decisions about the school that affects us.  All pupils have the opportunity to raise issues and share ideas that are then taken back to the Pope Francis Action Team.  This ensures that as many pupils' voices as possible are heard.  Pupils at St. Anselm's know that this is their school and their thoughts and ideas matter.

Pope Francis Action Team Proposals to improve the School Playground

The Action Team met and discussed potential areas of development at the end of the School Playground and wrote a letter to the Head Teacher to arrange a meeting to discuss their proposals.

The Head Teacher agreed that the playground would benefit from a shaded area for children to have a quiet space for reading or outdoor games.
