This week, we have been learning all about Christmas! In RE, we discovered that Advent started on Sunday and talked about how it is a special time of waiting. The children have been exploring all the different things we can see at Christmas—they have done some writing about these, and we have been reading lots of Christmas stories, including the classic The Night Before Christmas.

In class, the children enjoyed colouring Christmas traditions, making Christmas cookies from playdough, wrapping presents, and creating Christmas cards. We also had fun decorating our class Christmas tree, which really helped to bring the festive spirit into our classroom!
